Books: A Village Full of Valentines by James Stevenson, The Very Special Valentine by Christine Tagg
Game: Cupid Bingo (template for cards)

February 2010
Books: The Day It Rained Hearts by Felicia Bond, Valentine's Day by Anne Rockwell,The Ballad of Valentine by Alison Jackson, If You'll Be My Valentine by Cynthia Rylant
Craft: Valentine Cards (Provide children with white paper, crayons, and stickers)
Note: I've recently taken over the school age programs at my library in addition to the preschool ones. For a Valentine's Day School Age Story Time, I would read Amelia Bedelia's First Valentine by Herman Parish and Valentine's Day by Anne Rockwell. The children would make valentine cards including some like Amelia Bedelia.
