Books:
The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes by DuBose Heyward, The Chocolate Rabbit by Maria Claret, The Golden Egg Book by Margaret Wise Brown
Game: “Easter Bunny, Easter Bunny, where’s your egg?” (Similar to Doggy and the Bone—one child sitting in a chair is the Easter Bunny. The other children sit the chair in a circle. The Bunny closes his/her eyes, and the others chant Easter Bunny, Easter Bunny, where’s your egg?” While chanting, one of the children takes a card-stock egg from beneath the chair. If the bunny guesses who took the egg correctly, that person is the new Easter Bunny.)
Craft: Easter Egg Trees (Children provided with blank paper and several blank eggs printed on paper. The children trace their hands and arms in brown to make the tree trunk. They then color/decorate their eggs, cut then out, and glue them on the tree.)
Books: The Easter Egg by Jan Brett, Bunny's Easter Egg by Anne Mortimer, Seymour and Henry by Kim Lewis
Game: "Bunny Rabbit, Bunny Rabbit, where's your carrot?" OR “Easter Bunny, Easter Bunny, where’s your egg?”
