Meeting Notes November 17, 2019

Present: Max, Catherine, Patty, Bryce, Kim, Daniel, Joe, Julie, Dennis, Sandy

Old Business:

A. Adopt Robert's rules as a our way to do meetings.

B. Parade: Dec. 1. Line up at 1 with start at 3. Invited Hawkwood Rapier to join. Will invite heavy fighters. We are walking in the parade. No set time to stop and fence. Need people in gear and just show a presence. Hand out flyers and discuss SCA. Edward and Gracia and Veronica will attend. Everyone who is in parade must check in. Banner will be here and there should be 2 Stormwall banners. We have beads to pass out with labels on them.

C. Robert/Joe Warranted : Joe will get warranted to be webmaster. Robert sent it to Joe and told him what to send.

New Business:

A. Joe took second in the Just A Tourney Tourney. Fun event. Small. Highnesses were on site.

B. Christmas Party: Fionn's Candler in on Dec. 28. 1PM or a little thereafter until whenever

c. Meeting for Stormwall: Dec. 18. Finger foods etc. Post on FB so all know.

d. Hawkwood Baronial Birthday: will we submit a bid .

e. New Event: Should we do another smallish event? Weapons oriented. A&S competition. An event where everyone can try everything. Maybe we can use Darnell Farms. Large field. Looking at a fall event, a harvest festival? Look at Kingdom calendar and get it on the board. Camping space? Julie discussed Mercia the first the grandfather of Vlad. It would be fun to stage the battles. End of Sept thru Early Nov. Let's look at Inspiration Park or Darnell.

A&S: Garb sewing days. Look at your calendar and we'll discuss - start messenger. Persona Workshop..

Baronage: Only one group willing to step up. If we only have one choice, the Crown could down grade Hawkwood from Barony.

Practice: Scheduled on tues. Nov. 26. Time: 6:30 till 8:30. These will be local every other Tues. These will also travel to Asheville.
