Zero Waste 2026 Class 10 to run
Class 10 will run  the Zero Waste station roster HERE.

Both Paul Kitto and Keeley Ryhnd have run this on countless occassions so a detailed write up is not provided for 2026. We just need the roster filled for this. The tasks will include managing the cup library with dish washing out of te cooking room during each shift T

Salad Bar CLASS 10 Donation of 20 SALADS

For last few years Class 10 has made and served Nachos in the food court, this has brought in around $750 to $1000 profit. With the change to the simpler task of Zero Waste and cup library we kindly ask that the Class 10 parent community make a special effort to support the Class 9 salad bar which typically sells out early afternoon. If 20 Salads are provided by class 10 this will largely offset the loss of the Nacho Stall.

ROSTER

Stall/Task Coordinators: Edit these lists to suit your needs, then ask parents to put their names on the lists (online and/or print them out).

Parents -> When requested, volunteer your help by putting your names next to task on the lists.

Class 10 Students -> With 3 x helpers per hour needed the class 10 students need to also do a duty,  more often than not they tend to quite enjoy this.

Cup Library

2026 Class 10 - the remaining information can be ignored as this relates to a Nacho Stall which will not be run this fair, this is due to additional external food trucks on site for this years fair.

Nachos (maybe again relevant for the 2027 Fair)

Task Lists

What to Do

The idea is to produce a quick and easy vegetarian mex beans topping to be spooned on to heated  Nacho's and finished with grated  cheese.

The CA will purchase the Nacho's and topping ingredients from a wholesale supplier (TBC) .  Class 10 parents are responsible for preparing and serving the bean topping.

The C4 Fair Team/CA will provide the gazebo, trestle tables,  table clothes and paper plates and utensils.

See the roster for details about what you need to provide for the stall this includes Aprons and pricing signage.

Basic Nacho's topping recipe (Feel free to amend to your favourite recipe, speak to C4 fair team about changing the ingredients purchased if needed)

Recipe is for 1 batch - estimated 15 batches needed.

 Ingredients > 1 x  medium onion , 1 x garlic clove, 1 x can chopped tomatoes, 1 x can mex beans

Fry the onion and garlic in a pot for a few minutes

Add in the cans of tomatoes and mex beans, heat and simmer for 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Job Done!

On the Week Before - Ensure ALL food ingredients and stall items are available. Store food items in Cafeteria Kitchen. Arrange for large pots from cooking room to be used.

On the Day: You will need 2 people from 8am-10am who will prepare the nacho's topping in the cafeteria. Large pots are available in the cooking room. Prior to 10am take the first large pot to the stall.

Prior to 10am heat up the first batch of nacho chips in the cafeteria standing oven (by  cooking room door). Transfer to the hot box and wheel out to the stall.

For the Roster each hour you will need 2 people on the stall and 1 person in kitchen keeping the food ready for transferring to the hot box as needed .

Nacho's plate price suggested as $7. Check the size of the plate to be used and adjust if needed.

It is important to standardise the serving, The nacho chips is easy enough to fill plate, but different parents may spoon out random amounts of topping so have some guidance notes written down, e.g. two spoons only..

You will need to make up a sign for the stall for the agreed price. Talk to C4 Fair Team about the main fair sign (TBC if there is one in CA Container)
