We ask that parents who enjoy baking to please consider making a donation of 'Baked Goodness' to the Cake/Tea Stall (staffed by Class 8 during the fair).
Please bear in mind the special character of the school regarding food and use natural ingredients without artificial colorings/flavorings wherever possible.
Please wrap the baked goods in plastic wrap with a list of ingredients or specifically marked if “Gluten-free” or “Dairy-free”.
Please deliver your baked goods to the Home Economics room on the Friday the day before the fair, where possible on a bio disposable plate, if you do drop it off on a plate or in a container please clearly label so you can retrieve it easier at the completion of the fair.
Fresh Salad Creation
The Salad Bar, managed by class 9, has been a huge success at our fair but has the recurring problem of selling out of salads early in the afternoon. While the class 9 parents make a big effort to supply salads this typically only numbers 30 or 40 trays where twice as many are needed to keep fair goers happy and heathy past 1pm.
We therefore very much welcome donations of a colorful salad creation from the wider school community, preferably dropped off to the cooking room on the morning of the fair, but donations are also welcome to be dropped off on Friday after 3pm.
Families can contribute pre loved, good quality second hand clothing and salable items to the clothing stall and white elephant stall.
White elephant stuff can be dropped off at the container that will be set up at school at the beginning of term 4. The container will be opened in the mornings at drop off time
Please ensure clothes are clean and folded - Please try to bag clothes in likewise bundles and clearly label (i.e. Girls under 10, Boys, mens, womens etc...)
Please only contribute items that are of sufficient quality to sell, or you will burden us with the cost of dumping them.
For health and safety reasons NO ELECTRICAL ITEMS can be accepted
including COMPUTERS OR COMPUTER ACCESSORIES
Please also NO Plastic Toys
Please ensure items have ALL pieces in good working order
Thanks :-)
We would appreciate any families that can, to bring labeled pot plants, flowers or a posy to be sold at the Horticultural stall. These can be dropped off at the Stall on the day.
Lemons
If you are lucky enough to have an abundant lemon tree please keep an eye on the newsletter as to where you can drop off lemons for class 6 to make delicious lemonade
