Project Event Management Committee Members Job Description

Start at the Foundation Project Conference for the Annual Gala is comprised of various committees, which serve as the working constituency of the organization, set to task via projects stated on the Strategic Plan, and aim to accomplish the vision and identity, as stated in the organization’s policies. The work of the committee is done in close collaboration with the Project Manager.

Members serving on committees are up to date in their membership dues, demonstrating the values of the organization in their vocation, and seeking to achieve the policies through stewardship of their individual resources.

Members of the organization may volunteer for a committee by:

• • Verifying and securing active membership in the organization by contacting the organization.

  • Providing to the committee chaira the resources/talents to further the success of a project.

  • Demonstrating, through experience within the organization or other nonprofit involvement, to qualify for a particular committee’s expectation of involvement.

Members can serve on a committee in two capacities:

• • Directly with the chairperson by leading a project.

  • Directly with a project leader to complete a particular task.
