Southern Harmony at the Citadel in the Summerall Chapel
News 13 May 2020: Fear of Covid-19 continues. Singing from the Southern Harmony has ceased. Mitchell has received the call to attend seminary.
News 17 March 2020: The Citadel has cancelled all non-essential events through 31 March. We comply, cancel, and pray to return when the public fear has passed.
Primary Book: The Southern Harmony (1847) from which we began singing on 7 November 2018.
Secondary Book: The Sacred Harp (1991, Red Cover) from which we sang beginning on 5 September 2018.
Place was: Summerall Chapel, Remembrance Avenue, The Citadel
Day and Time were: Weekly on Wednesdays during the academic year from 6 pm until 7 pm

Directions:
From Rutledge Avenue, turn west toward the Ashley River onto Moultrie Street. Moultrie ends at the main gate of the Citadel, the Summerall Gate. After passing the gate-guard's post, turn right at the big gold ring onto Remembrance Avenue. The parade field will be on your left. The Daniel Library will be on your right. The second building on the right is the Summerall Chapel. You may park in any of the visitor places adjacent to the parade field along Remembrance Avenue.
