Business Meeting:

  • A healing prayer was offered for an absent singer.
  • The group at the Citadel continues to sing weekly from The Southern Harmony (1847) on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 pm in the Summerall Chapel. The group also plans a two-hour singing on the fifth Sunday of March, the 31st from 2 to 4 pm. The digital version of The Southern Harmony is available at the Library of Congress.
  • Savannah's next monthly singing is Saturday 9 February 2019 at the Ferguson Avenue Baptist Church, 10050 Ferguson Avenue from 2 to 4 pm.
  • Some of our members will be going to The North Carolina 2019 Sacred Harp Convention on Saturday 2 March at the Pullen Memorial Baptist Church. As a bonus, our friends in the "triangle" will be hosting a singing from The Shenandoah Harmony on Sunday 3 March.
  • Some of our LCSH singers will be going to the Georgia State Sacred Harp Convention on the "4th Sunday [of March] and Saturday before", i.e. 23 and 24 March.
