Final Update of the Season

Hi Parents!

This will be my final update. Thank you for sharing your children with us; they are amazing and have done a remarkable job this season! You should be proud.

• I forgot to take a team photo at the track meet. Please send your athlete to practice tomorrow in his/her team t-shirt so we can take the photo then.

  • The track meet was successful and it was wonderful to see all of the progress our athletes have made. Thank you to all of our volunteers, coaches and sponsors! Putting on a meet is a lot of work and it can't be done without your support.

    • Meet results will be posted on our website soon: www.glenwoodspringers.club Also, please keep your eyes peeled for an article in the paper about the event.

• Our final practice will be tomorrow morning: Monday, July 2 from 9:00-11:00am.

  • Our end-of-season party will be Tuesday, July 3 at 5:00PM at Sayre Park in the lower gazebo. This is a potluck party and families are encouraged to join us. Please bring something to share! Families generally bring a side dish or main dish to share. Springers will provide drinks, paper ware/plastic ware, activities and cake.

    • Your athlete's clean uniform is your ticket to the party! Please be sure to remove ALL STICKERS from the uniform before washing it. Please note that if you cannot join us for the party, uniforms can be returned to my home: 1505 Mountain Drive, GWS. Please leave uniforms on my front bench.

Finally, I would like to say a special thank you to our board president, Jenny Cutright, who is constantly working behind the scenes to keep this program running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Please thank her when you see her!
