The Door of Shade and the Door the Light
The door of shade and the door of light are the portals which lead at one side to the unaccepted and at the other hand to the accepted aspects of ourselves. It is typical, that all aspects, whose existence as part of us is denied, are considered as dark. We have labeled the unaccepted aspects as dark, because in the darkness we are unable to see. Having situated these nonbeloved aspects in the darkness we hope, that they stay unseen or even may vanish.
Concerning the door of light, you may best associate the light with enlightenment. The light, which is dealt here, is more than an aspect of vision, it is a force of transmutation. Well, if you increase the knowledge about yourself, you learn, that the difference of character and personal qualities of you and the others is not as great, as you have thought at first. This makes you more tolerant and tolerance turns to love and love turns to spirituality. Therefore the process of self realisation ends in enlightenment.
