OBE and IBE Experiences

This morning I was awakened by one of my dogs at 3:30 a.m. She had to go out. So I went downstairs and let her out. The moon was full.
When I went back to bed I had trouble getting to sleep. I found myself somewhere. Then I realized it was a dream and it went black. Suddenly I was aware of lying on the bed, my back toward the full moon, and felt a very thick fluid oozing out of the back of my neck. It moved slow and seemed to be amassing in the air directly behind my neck. I have to add that the consistency or rheology was something like toothpaste or cream cheese. I felt a mild tingling in the neck and shoulders. Then the ooze came back in. I sat up and realized that I did not recall ever feeling that sort of dissociation before. Most peculiar. Was this ectoplasmic in nature ? It seems like it.

"Re: vibrations, humming and helpers"

From early on in my own OOB experiences I have been aware of feeling as if I was not alone. When the vibrations started for me I would always force myself to get out of the sensation. It never worked. I gave in to it and decided to explore it.
The next time vibration started, I thought of moving my arm and was aware of feeling it move. In fact it felt as if some one grabbed my hand as if to shake it in a greeting. You might think this would freak me out, but at the time (30 years ago at least) it did not seem threatening. At this point I "hear" a voice. . . maybe an auditory hallucination to some, but it seemed real enough. . . and this voice said simply, "Hey. .. come over and see this! " as if to get the attention of others there. And a few seconds later it said, "Try more yellow. . . " I am aware of seeing a increase in yellow light. I then hear a "POP" in my head, and all of a sudden the vibrations are a lot more mellow feeling. From that point on I have been aware of beings there with me from time to time.
I have also had experiences where these "beings" have taken my non-physical form somewhere. In this, I am aware of the beginning of the vibration experience. . . the arrival of the "guide," the initial talking to the guide, and us leaving. At this point the next thing I remember is returning to the "body" still with the guide who is explaining to me why I will not be able to remember where we have just been. These were both at a very young age.
More recently I had an experience where I went, it seemed alone, to a place I do not remember being before, but that seemed familiar at the same time. It was three jumps in energy from the vibration state. Robert A Monroe described something called "Skips" and this may be related. . . Anyway, I eventually came to a dark place in which I was aware of soft pulsating energy in the distance, I guess beyond where I had come. . . I reach down to my side and found a disk slightly larger than a small ash tray. I placed this in the center of my own forehead, if we really have a forehead while in this state. . . Instantly I see lights. . . and feel a combination of prickly electrical vibration while seeing a burst of color like fire works. . . I then return. . . So that is the long answer.
The shorter answer is, Yes, at least I have had experiences where it seemed I had a guide, and where I felt some sort of energy work was being done, even though in my more recent account above it seemed I was the one doing the work on myself.
More resources. . . Forget the link that person sent. I could not find anything worth while in it. I like the three books by Robert A Monroe, "Journeys Out of the Body" "Far Journeys" and "Ultimate Journey." To the scoffers out there, I had already had quite a few years of these experiences before I read about them any where else, or before I even mentioned to anyone that I had them. The only difference reading the Monroe books made in me was that I then knew I was not alone in having them, and I was not the first person who struggled with thinking they were going crazy because of it.
Happy travels. . .Bye. . .

I was in an argument with my mother and father after we'd all had a lot to drink. I felt something pull my head to the left and felt a popping noise. I subsequently found myself, out of body for the first time, but behind my parents. I did not feel scared, but was apprehensive, and wanted to return to my body. I thought I was probably invisible. As I went back, my mother saw me and was terrified. Later, she said she had seen a demon enter my body. I never felt like a demon, but looked like one.
