Dear Son's Chapel Volunteers,

All is well... so far... so good... although severe storms, damaging winds, large hail and chance of tornadoes are forecasted, moving from the west, starting after 11 p.m., and temperatures dipping to the 50s. So even though we're anticipating "Stormy Weather," today was sunny @ 82 degrees for 21 quilters/ stitchers. For lunch we appreciated N's cinnamon rolls and G's watermelon treats.

QUILTING NEWS: Lots of activity and production today: got the 2 "pieced quilts" marked, sandwiched and in frames (with M's help); 4 quilts are done, out of the frames, and now ready for binding (girls' baseball, Mother Goose, 2 sleepy bears). Four quilt tops were sewn this week (Hickory, Dickory Dock, dog squares, and 2 Mother Goose, and B embroidered "Winnie the Poo" squares (with matching fabric). Thanks to N for sweeping up today.

Storm warnings continue... Be prepared and keep safe tonight...
