Dear all,
Peace be with you! Thanks for your presence in the class today. We had a beautiful class which Saki opened with a Buddhist chant that reminded us of the importance of honoring our spiritual awakening, of bringing the spiritual teachings into life and of the importance of spiritual community.
Our second practice was the Elements Breath with the wazifas Shafi – Khafi. Saki says.: If you do only one thing do elements breath for it is important to realize that we can move from denseness to fineness in our spiritual work.”
After that Saki led us in a qesab practice with the wazifas Nur – Wadud. Once more, she reminded us that all spiritual work begins with presence.
We also worked with the second Silver rule which is: My conscientious Self use tact in all occasions. She gave us the following wazifa practice in connection with this rule:
Ya Shahid – The One who sees from the Divine point of view
Ya Inayat = Bringing in the aspect of gentleness and graciousness. At the same time it is also the way to invite another being to open their hearts.
Our dhikr practice today came with a clarifying explanation by Saki:
La ilaha – This part of the dhikr is the negation of all our false concepts about us.
Ila – Is the surrender, our willingness and trust to go into the dark night of the soul.
La – Here we allow ourselves to return to light.
Hu – A way of really being present.
After the dhikr we did Shagall breaths as way to turn within and hear the voice the voice of guidance.
We also shared the Healing Prayer and closed the class with a sobet in which we shared our thoughts and feelings about the path of mureedship.
In the next class we are going to work on the third silver rule: Place people rightly in your estimation.
See you in the next class.
In love and service,
Graciete
