Since time immemorial, the Sufi tradition has developed and refined pathways of spiritual unfoldment within everyday life that honor the beauty and richness of life.

This “way” or path of the heart is accessible and useful to all of us who feel the call of awakening spiritually, and does not require us to adopt any belief systems, dogmas or adherence to any particular religious tradition.

The Path of the Heart is an open monthly class that explores some essential elements and central practices for navigating this journey. It is facilitated by Saki Lee, an experienced senior teacher/guide and assisted by Graciete Parizio and mureeds of the Sufi Order International/Lightsong Sufi Center.

During these open classes we will share sacred music and dance, breath, light, sound, and meditation practices to harmonize, purify and uplifts our hearts and spirit Our attunement is drawn from the universal Sufi teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan and Pir Zia Inayat Khan, as well as the poetry and stories of Sufi poets Attar, Hafiz and Rumi.

These classes are open to all, from complete beginners to those with much experience on the spiritual path. Everyone is welcome! The classes are possible through your generous voluntary donations.

TIME: 14:30 -18:00, followed by a vegetarian potluck dinner (everyone brings something to share)
