I graduated as geography and biology teacher, later specialized in geography, and wrote my PhD thesis (2005) in soil and vegetation interactions and their changes following landscape transformations in Hortobágy. I held lectures in Geography and Earth Sciences BSc, Geographer, Nature Conservationist MSc, and in Geographer Teachers Education Program as well. My lectures are in Geoecology, Nature conservation, Soil preservation, Landscape conservation, Landscape history and Cultural landscapes. My mean research topics are soil and vegetation transformations in post agricultural landscapes, land use changes. I participated and organized several international curses and field practices for students in the mentioned topics in Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia. I am member of the Hungarian Society of Soil Sciences, Hungarian Society of Geography, and Hungarian Society of Geology as well.
