I am a soil scientist and a geographer. I hold my MSc (2012) and PhD (2017) in geography and soil science from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Since 2017 I am working at the Department of Soil Science and Land Protection, Poznań University of Life Sciences.

My primary research interest is genesis, classification and evolution (both, natural and human induced) of young glacial landscape soils with special regards to hydromorphic ones (Histosols and Gleysols). Since 2015 I’m a member of Soil Science Society of Poland and Polish Humic Substances Society. I am teaching courses of Soil Science and Soil Parent Materials currently.

Some recent Research Projects:

Soil cover evolution at the location of the former mill pond basins (2012-present, main investigator).

Anthropogenic impact on the soil cover evolution in the catchment of disappearing water bodies (2012-present, researcher).

Validation of the Central European Soil Database [Visegrad Strategic Program (Strategic Grant No. 31210072] (2012-2013, researcher).
