Latests projects:

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Soil Science at the Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) in Toruń. My research interests focus on the soil erosion in young glacial landscapes and the biological activity of soils in arctic regions. As a student of geography at NCU, I studied ecological soil science. I took part in the three polar expeditions organized by Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. My principal teaching responsibilities lie in the area of geography of soils, soil genesis and soil

monitoring and protection. I am NCU Faculty of Earth

Sciences Professional Practices Coordinator. Away from

work, I enjoy spending my time actively - riding my bike,

running or hiking (eg. I set my foot on the top of Mt. Blanc

and Elbrus). more about me...
