22. Holiday Prep
Halloween may be over, but for Bingo the autumn season does not come to its end until after Thanksgiving. While the spooky decorations have come and gone, he still appreciates some pleasant harvest decor.
Hm, yes. This looks very nice.
It just needs one last thing - his Thanksgiving yard sign - to be perfectly festive.
He goes inside to look for it.
But not everyone likes to hold onto the fall season for so long...
As soon as Halloween is over, some folks only have eyes for one more holiday before the year is over.
Sometimes to the annoyance of others.
Sam and Uncle Tubby are of the impression that Christmas preparations can never begin too early.
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Bingo is of the equally strong opinion, however, that Christmas celebrations should not begin - at the minimum - until the day after thanksgiving.
It's only the middle of November!
Thanksgiving comes before Christmas, in just five days!
While at this point Christmas is still more than a whole month away.
He tells Sam, and Uncle Tubby too, that under no uncertain terms, it is simply too early to put up the Christmas tree.
There is nothing that can sway his decision.
Sam and Tubby are upset, but solemnly accept Bingo's declaration.
They will get through this hard time together.
It will be tough, but they will make it.
Hopefully.

Bingo knows he is much too soft, but he can't stand to see his friends so heartbroken.
Maybe...
...just maybe, it would not be the end of the world to allow them to put up their Christmas tree a little early this yea-
Sam and Tubby don't need to be told that twice.
But there is a catch.
Because Sam and Uncle Tubby destroyed Bingo's autumn decorations...
...they have to let him decorate the tree.
It was a little unconventional, for sure, but Sam and Tubby had to agree...
This was definitely the best Thanksgivemas tree they'd ever seen.
