When The Vamire Kissed part 3

Rebecca broke off the kiss with a gasp and looked up at Gabriel who smiled down at her.

“Well now that was interesting.” He said and sat up a little. “If I let you go will you promise not to try and kill me anymore?” he asked giving her a big grin that showed off his fangs. She bit her lip but nodded her head and he rolled to the right. When her body was free she stood and dusted herself off then without a second thought extended her hand to him he took it and bounded up. She tried to pull her hand away but he held it tightly in his and brought it to his lips where he lightly kissed it. The gesture was so powerful that she felt it through her black leather glove. Uneasy and confused she quickly pulled her hand away and backed toward the entrance of the cemetery keeping him in sight. Gabriel just stood their with his head cocked to one side looking at her like a dog who is waiting for a treat. All of sudden Rebecca ran at Gabriel she grabbed him and dragged him toward the nearest crypt with one hand she held onto his collar with the other she through open the door and pushed him inside then she followed slamming the door shut behind them.

“What is wrong with you woman?” He asked when he recovered from the shock of it all. She did not answer just pointed to the door. Gabriel looked with confusion until he saw the daylight creep in around the edges how long had they been laying there on the grass. Now he was going to have to spend the night here with this crazy women that he did not know if he loved or hated. Defeated he found a bench in a far corner and sat. He folded his arms across his chest and glared at her. Rebecca went to the bench across from him and sat down. They remained that way for a while until he couldn’t stand the silence any more. He cleared his throat and stood up then he sat back down again. She laughed at him and from a small pouch on her belt retrieved a vial which she then threw at him. He caught it and held it up; to his surprise it was blood. He looked from the vial to her then back again. Rebecca rolled her eyes and said, “Yes it is blood drink it before you pass out it is going to be a long day.” He just looked at her like she had lost his mind.

“You have got to be kidding right? You just tried to kill me out there and now I am suppose to believe that this is okay?” She sighed and got up then she went over to him. She took the vial from her hand popped the top and drank a little then handed it back to him. He just stood there with his jaw on the floor. When she licked her lips he could not control himself he grabbed her and pulled her to him. He kissed her passionately she responded to him wrapping her arms around his neck. When he finally broke off he downed the vial in one gulp and sat down again with a thud that sent her into a fit of giggles.

When he could speak again he said, “Who or what are you?”

She smiled down at him and said, “I am Rachel’s older sister I was trying to kill you because I thought that your brother killed my sister. I now understand that they loved each other just as I now seem to love you.” She stopped and wondered if he always looked this goofy or if she just had hit him with too much information at once. Gabriel stood and paced back and forth then he came and stood above her she just looked up at him and smiled.

“Well, I never understood why my kid brother stood under that window all the time until now. You and your sister are some serious sirens. I don’t know if I should love you back or throw myself outside into the sunshine.” This said he began to pace again. Rebecca just watched him letting it all sink in even though she wanted desperately to reach out to him. Finally he grew tired and sat down next to her. She scooted closer on the bench and he opened his arms to her. She put her head on his chest and he leaned against the cold wall. Worn out by their encounter with each other they slept. As night fell they awoke together he turned her toward him and kissed her lightly. She sighed and pressed her body into his. He hissed and pulled her closer. They kissed passionately bodies intertwined. When Gabriel was just about to his breaking point he pushed her gently away and stood up. He looked down at her sadly and said, “We have to stop the war between our clans. The werewolves are planning something big. I think that they are going to attack us all because they think that we are vulnerable. If we don’t band together then both our sides will not survive.” Rebecca looked shocked and jumped up grabbing her weapons then his hand. She smiled a mischievous smile and said, “I’m ready let's go!”

He smiled at her and led them both out to the night.
