The First Vision
I wrote this 26-28 Jan 2020 for Tenor solo, SATB choir, and orchestra. I had the idea for it a week earlier and felt compelled to write it - so I did.
Text of course is from JS-History.
At one point I quote the first measures from the hymn "Oh How Lovely Was the Morning".
The final pages - text "from that day" - simply suggests what followed that great event.
