Desert Triptych

Op. 19 'A Desert Triptych' - in 3 movements, written for SSA choir for my daughter's choir at Agua Fria High School in Avondale AZ. I sent a copy to her choir director, but after several months, at the end of the school year he retired and returned the music to me, saying he wished he could have performed it.

The text is my own.

The three sections are called 'Mountains and Sand', 'Desert Eagle', and 'Home'.

I originally wrote this with Cakewalk, using a String Trio for the voices; later I entered it into Finale.
