Legatee eligibility

Police Legacy’s main focus is on the school aged children of deceased police officers. To be eligible to be a legatee or a beneficiary of the Police Legacy’s Commandants Trust a person must be;

• The natural or adopted child of the deceased officer and are recorded on the strength of the officer.
• Legally adopted with legal documentation from the courts stating that the child has been legally adopted.
• All children must be registered at the Register General Office with their Birth Certificate as proof that they are school aged and dependent children of the deceased.
