A lot is happening with deed restrictions. By now you should have received a copy of your deed restrictions (mailed in January of 2015) and a letter explaining the plan to enforce and grandfather the deed restrictions (mailed May 2015). Several questions have been raised about what all this means. Here are some things to help address those questions:
1 - A copy of the meeting minutes from the Annual Meeting from February has been posted to the annual meeting page. This should help explain some of the events leading up to the deed restriction enforcement mailings
2 - Copies of the deed restrictions, a summary of the restrictions, and the complete enforcement and variance process can be found on the Deed Restrictions page.
3 - For those who wish to change the existing deed restrictions, it is possible but is going to take some work. It requires the changes be documented in a "record-able format" that can be filed with the wood county auditor, and requires the signatures of all owners in 75% of your plat grouping. If you are interested in making changes or helping others in your plat grouping make changes, let us know!
