PC Rotary Club is one of nearly 50 Rotary Clubs in District 6420 encompassing Northern / Northwestern Illinois, which in turn is a part of Rotary International Zone 28.
As a District, we are able collectively to do more...
Rotary gears, working together!

Scholarship Opportunities -- Selection and funding of area college students to do advanced studies overseas, or to pursue advanced education in world peace and conflict resolution!
Youth Exchange -- Providing high school students an opportunity to spend a summer or full year abroad, hosted by Rotary Clubs throughout the world, and hosting international students within our District as well !
RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards -- a spring-time weekend event hosted annually by our District, teaching and motivating selected area high school students while providing an opportunity to learn leadership and teamwork skills in a fun and rewarding camp experience!
Inspiring YOUTH to take "ACT"-ion -- Providing a network sharing ideas and ideals with youth from elementary school EARLY ACT Clubs to Jr. High and High School INTERACT Clubs, to college-based ROTARACT Clubs -- mentoring tomorrow's leaders today!

From PDG Scott Shore
To all District 6420 Rotary Members:
Hi & Happy COR season! What's that?
Well, it's "Council on Resolutions:" of course -- Rotary International's way of including ALL of us in the loop on proposed changes to our RI Constitution and Bylaws!
In fact, we can even PROPOSE changes that might be beneficial to all concerned!
Each District gets to select one representative to serve for 3 years on the Council on (annual) Resolutions and Council on (triennial) Legislation. I have that privilege this term, and PDG Steve Kuhn serves as Alternate.
Presently, we are reviewing 36 pending Resolutions and will appreciate your input. These proposed Resolutions can be found by CLICKING HERE !
Among the items you'll find are:
· 21 R 05 to replace RI's annual theme with one permanent theme, "Service Above Self;"
· 21 R 08 to waive dues for Rotaractors who transfer to their sponsoring Rotary Club;
· 21 R 17 to change Rotary Youth Leadership “Awards” to Rotary Youth Leadership “Academy” and
· 21 R 31 to exempt "climate change" from Rotary's ban on “political” topics….
And LOTS MORE!
Then, CLICK HERE and scroll down to see the good stuff including HOW to propose Resolutions and legislation - AND to see the PROPOSED LEGISLATION-2022 that will be considered when our Council next meets in person in April !
If you, a Club or the District might have ideas to be proposed, let us know and we will provide the guidance to get your proposals on the table in the future!
YOUR PART? CLICK HERE to let us know how YOU would vote -- or how you think that we, as a District, should vote -- on currently pending Resolutions and Legislation. You can respond individually, or consider and respond as a Club. All input is beneficial --but we must have your responses by November 1 to allow time for our consideration of your comments.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST – we invite you to a ZOOM-IN to share comments and ideas about pending or possible resolutions and legislation, on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1st, at 7pm! Here’s the Zoom link:
