1. What local volunteer organization:

·       presents free personal dictionaries to every Putnam County third-grader every year, and reads books to PC Primary and Elementary School students at each school monthly?

·       sponsors “Toys in the Pantry,” providing Christmas gifts and educational toys to children of PC Food Pantry clients annually?

2. What community service Club:

·       delivers over 700 poinsettias to senior citizens throughout Putnam County every Christmas, and annually helps to sponsor Senior Day at the Marshall-Putnam Fair?

·       sponsors Kops for Kids Fishing Derbies, Field of Dreams Day for kids of all ages at Alleman Field, Food Pantry Christmas Basket deliveries, 4-H Fair trophies, After-School activities, CPASA and Parent-Teacher events, and MP Fair Family Fun nights,?

·       co-hosts two Red Cross Blood Drives annually, helping to save lives?

·       brings together area farmers, bankers and agri-business men and women annually to share information and to celebrate farming and the importance of Agri-Business?

3. What group of community, business, and local government representatives:

·       sponsors and mentors youth leadership and community service Interact Clubs at both Putnam County High School and Putnam County Junior High School?

·       hosts safe, substance-free post-prom “Afterglow” entertainment for high school students?

·       provides international youth exchange opportunities to broaden all students’ global education?

·       partners with PCHS Interact to send high school students to a weekend team-building and leadership training institute each May?

·       awards scholarships and honors for graduating seniors demonstrating exemplary academic, vocational, and community service accomplishments?

4. What diverse group of men and women collaborates:

·       to eradicate polio and other communicable diseases, world-wide?

·       to partipate in global projects providing safe water, health care, vocational training, emergency disaster relief, and basic literacy in third world countries?

·       to support six centers for peace throughout the world, with scholarship opportunities for advanced college study to become tomorrow’s world leaders and ambassadors?
