The VPD Surveillance workshop was organized in Lecture Theatre 1, Patna Medical College on 20th of January, 2016 in collaboration with WHO Bihar to emphasize on the importance of surveillance of Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPDs). Principal of Patna Medical College Prof Dr SN Sinha inaugurated the event. Speakers from various departments viz; Neurology, Dermatology, Paediatrics and ENT were invited to speak on the vaccine preventable diseases presenting in their respective OPDs and the criteria for diagnosis of the same. The highlight of the workshop was the Free Paper Presentation session. Papers were presented by the following young IAPSM members on their research and work done on vaccine preventable diseases.
