Healthy, No-Noodle Goulash

2 lbs. ground beef

1 medium yellow onion, diced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce

1 (25 oz.) can diced tomatoes

1 1/2 tablespoons coconut aminos (or soy sauce, if not strict keto)

2 tablespoons dried oregano

2 teaspoons dried basil

1 tablespoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

1 cabbage, cored and sliced thin

1. Cook the meat in a large pot over medium-high heat, breaking it into small pieces.

2. When the meat is no longer pink, add the onion and garlic, sautéing until tender.

3. Stir in the tomato sauce, tomatoes, coconut aminos or soy sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

4.  Add the cabbage, a handful at a time, stirring well after each addition. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook, stirring once in a while, until cabbage is soft.
