Jonathan Brinsden

Jonathan Brinsden is the CEO of Midway Companies and is heavily involved in the Urban Land Institute - Houston. I currently work for Midway Companies as a property mangement associate under Jonathan's leadership thanks to his recruitment, mentorship, and involvement with Texas A&M University's real estate programs. Jonathan always makes himself available for questions, both work-related and personal, and I take advantage of that opportunity often. Midway fosters a strong, highly involved leadership team that focuses on creativity, inclusion, and a family environment.

Col. Jeff Gardner

Col Gardner is the academic adviser for Parsons Mounted Cavalry through the Corps of Cadets Program at Texas A&M University. As a former member of the Corps of Cadets, Parsons Mounted Cavalry, and the United States Air Force, Col Gardner was perfectly poised to help young students like myself navigate through college successfully. The skills in servant leadership that were taught by Col. Garner from 2014 to 2017 have transcended far beyond horseback riding but also into my personality, academics, and the workforce.

Janet Richards

Janet Richards served as my academic adviser from 2014 to 2017 in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning. Prior to becoming my academic adviser, Janet made time to advise me on the necessary steps to be accepted into the program. Janet also served as the program adviser for my community service student organization, Sully's Selfless Servants.

Mark Kill is the CEO of Cooper Carry Architects in Atlanta, Georgia where I interned in the summer of 2011. The internship never truly ended for me because Mark and I still meet whenever I am in town to update each other on business ventures, career goals, overall well-being, etc.

Geoffrey Booth has been a professor and mentor of mine since 2014. Phil Miner

Phil Miner is the founder of Miner Corporation and former Chairman of the Texas A&M Association of Former Students Board of Directors. My relationship with Phil started simply by being in the right place at the right time during my undergraduate studies. After meeting with Phil on several occasions throughout my senior year, discussing my future career plans and learning about his experiences at Texas A&M, I was greeted on the graduating stage by Phil's warm embrace and induction into the Association of Former Students.

Meredith Simpson

Meredith Simpson was my academic adviser for the Corps of Cadets Program at Texas A&M from 2013 to 2017. I initially struggled with balancing my coursework with the rigors of the cadet program and attending college out-of-state. Without Meredith's help, I would not have performed well in college. Meredith has seen me grow not only academically but also culturally, having chaperoned my study abroad trip to San Miguel de Allende and Mexico City, Mexico.
