While undergoing graduate courses, I studied and passed the Texas Real Estate Licensing exam. My license is held with TM5 Properties in Bryan, Texas where I am a member of the sales team. The mantra that attracted me to TM5 was that their employees “eat what they kill.” No idea is a bad idea and their business mindset is highly progressive, innovative, and blatantly desperate for success.
James Altucher once wrote in Business Insider magazine, “The greatest pleasure is going into the jungle and mastering the ability to hunt and survive without the help of masters who only pretend to guarantee our safety. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, an employer, a student, a homemaker, a writer, it’s time to start forgetting about all the ways the world has promised you safety and comfort.”
I understand that growth is uncomfortable, and if I wish to be the best at my craft, I have to be willing to do uncomfortable tasks on the path to success. What I have loved about my real estate experience is that the sky is truly the limit to my success attainment. There is no such thing as a free lunch and with that mindset, I have worked my way through college, established myself in the Bryan/College Station real estate market, and eat my fill.
