Strategic Plan: A strategic plan is a plan that outlines the following:
Who are we
What do we do
Where are we now
Where do we want to go
How we want it done
Action Plan: An action plan is the step by step scheduling of activities, time and resources
Communication Plan: A communication plan is a prepared guide of how you intent to communicate the progress and needs of the development. The communication plan is also how you connect with stakeholders to achieve buy-in and support.
Monitoring and Evaluation Plan: A monitoring and evaluation plan is a prepared strategy to observing and assessing the progress of the project. The monitoring and evaluation plan assists in keeping things on track and allows you the opportunity to adjust activities for the greater success of the development.

This exercise will require the engagement of the community leaders, groups, change-makers and if possible the institutions and government agencies who are stakeholders in the development of the area or asset.
