18th November - Fundraiser for Free Youth Tennis in the Parks

The introduction of the T.E.A.M. (Tennis, Education and Mentoring) after-school program that will offer tennis lessons, educational help and mentoring to children is taking place at the Payne Park Auditorium (across the parking lot from the tennis courts) this Tuesday evening, the 18th from 6-8 PM.
Nick Bollettieri will host the event and there is no charge to attend. There will be food and drinks provided with raffle and auction prizes to help kick-start the program.
This is a similar program to the one that Nick and Arthur Ashe offered to several inner cities for many years. T.E.A.M. will soon announce several very important partnerships and alliances that are currently in the works. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and Manatee will participate in this program and the great game of tennis will grow by getting racquets in the hands of juniors at an early age!
