Tai Chi comes North......

"Unlimited," thus is the usual translation for Tai Chi, This great Chinese Art has long been understood to promote well being in Mind and Body and is a complete study of the self. It is renowned for improving balance, coordination and flexibility, and easing emotional and mental tension. First practiced and developed as a Martial Art , it has been taught in the West mainly for the health benefits. Classes already run in Downend and Thornbury (new class) and now 'Tai Chi for Parkinsons ' is coming North - to Clifton library to be exact. There's a large, bright room above the library itself where Sarah will hold the classes, every Monday 11.30am - 12.30pm. The first six weeks is an introduction course aiming to introduce you to the art, help you begin to learn habits for good posture, and hopefully be the start of a wonderful new practice! The cost for an hour will be £10 - but if you book now for the 6 weeks, it will only cost you £50 instead of £60. Classes will be ongoing thereafter.

Tea and coffee available after the class.

The classes will begin on Monday 6th June numbers limited by the space available. Don't miss out!

To book email Sarah buqiworks@gmail.com or call 07815662844 (text preferred).
