There are two parts to this exercise that will help you build skills using the Prismacolor pencils and help you understand how laying white first helps the color.

You will need:

1 sheet strip of black paper

(Canson Mi-teintes, #425 Stygian Black,Noir- Negro,98#/160 g)

white, magenta, canary yellow, and aqua marine Prismacolor pencils

hand pencil sharpener (electric pencil sharpeners will get gummed up if you use them)

triangle template

ruler
