Disclaimer -I am not an expert on this. This is what I have figured out from working with my students with the ap. Please share any tips that you learn.
Create a virtual experience for viewers of your work hung in a display using AUGMENTED REALITY software.
In Aurasma for devices like your iphone, ipad, or android phone or tablet ,video and target images both can be created on the device.
Use Aurasma for devices if you will not
1. want to edit the video
2. use the video in any other format
As far as I can tell the video is not accessible outside of the ap. If someone figures out that it is please contact me.
For Studio you create the video and target image outside of the application.
Use Aurasma Studio if you:
1. Want to edit the video
2. Use the video for another purpose
Students use Aurasama, a free software, to video record an artist statement linked to an image of their artwork.

Aurasma can be downloaded from Google Play Store or the Apple Store.
1.Open the Aurasma -
Log in: (the log in the teacher created for this channel or group) password: (the password that the teacher created)
2. At the bottom, touch DEVICE
Hit the "+" near the top right, then select CAMERA (sometimes have to touch it a few times.
Select VIDEO (Choose front or back camera.)
Hit the red RECORD button, record statement below.
TIP: Hold the camera the same way that you will when you photograph your target image.
Record your statement on the device
Introduce yourself using FIRST NAME only
Explain the project
Explain your topic, why you chose it, what message you wanted to communicate and why.
Explain how you represented yourself.
3. Play video to see how it looks. Re-record if needed. When you have a video that you are please with, touch Use Video on bottom right.
Name it: Your first name and project name
4. Now you will see your video in the multiple ones on the screen.
Name it: Your first name and name of project ( Pamela Comic Proportions)
5. Make it public
Add it to a channel: "Name of the Channel" (Don’t make a new channel!, use the one that is made. )
6 Channel: "Name of the Channel"
Keep the things on the left in mind while you are taping.
