This study aims to reassess the structural correspondence between symbolic planetary positions described in the prophetic verses of the 16th-century astrologer Nostradamus and the actual astronomical configurations through mathematical and technical methods. To bridge the conceptual gap between historical astrological cosmology and modern computational astronomy, we present the design and implementation of NORNSS (Nostradamus Orbital Regression Navigation Simulation System)—a dual-mode system capable of simulating both symbolic and high-precision planetary data. NORNSS comprises two distinct computational modes: the Nostradamus Mode, which reconstructs planetary positions based on symbolic and periodic models derived from Ptolemaic geocentric cosmology and the Regiomontanus ephemerides, and the High-Precision Mode, which utilizes Swiss Ephemeris v2.10.03 (DE431) to provide astronomically accurate positional data. The former facilitates the recovery of 16th-century symbolic logic, while the latter enables quantitative verification of textual-astronomical consistency. This paper delineates the computational architecture underlying planetary longitudes, aspects, and house cusps in both modes and describes the algorithmic framework developed to match astrological configurations with poetic references automatically. The system also incorporates traditional astrological elements such as the Ascendant, Midheaven, Part of Fortune, and the fixed star Altair to support symbolic interpretation. By formalizing the symbolic logic of Renaissance astrology within a computational framework, NORNSS establishes a novel methodological foundation for the empirical study of prophetic literature and early modern cosmological thought.
