How to become a Soccer Referee
Have you ever considered becoming a referee?
Refereeing soccer can be one of the most rewarding ways to service the game and make extra money. Some of our best referees have been players, coaches, and parents.
You can make as much as $150 a weekend or more depending on the number of games you work

REGISTER KY referee on field information
Registration is performed online through U.S. Soccer's Learning Center . There is a $65 registration fee to complete the required course work so be sure to have ready your credit or debit card when registering.
NOTE - If you are 18 years of age or older, it is required that you complete the U.S. Soccer NCSI Background Check. The cost of the background check is $30 and it is valid for 2 years.
Certification to be a Grassroots Referee is done through a combination of online course work and in-person field experience. Your registration for the Grassroots - First-time Referee course will include both.
Online portion will take about 3 hours
In person field training will take about 3 hours
