Small Sided Rules

NKSL Modified Laws for Small Sided Games Summary

U8 and U10 rules will be modified for goal kicks.  Defensive team (team not taking the goal kick) will be required to move back to mid field, to allow the offensive team (team taking the goal kick) to inbound the ball.  Once the ball is touched by a player (not taking the goal kick) it is a live ball and the defensive team can then move back across midfield.

NKSL limits the number of coaches on the sideline to a maximum of two coaches who must be risk management approved following KYSA policy.

Reminder about earrings and jewelry - NKSL follows USSF guidance and NO exceptions will be granted.  All jewelry is strictly prohibited during a soccer game. This includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, leather bands, and rubber bands. Using tape to cover jewelry is not permitted.
