ウオジラミ科カイアシ類の一種 Parapetalus? sp. は ”Thynnnus albacora (Jap. Sōda-gatuwo)” の鰓に寄生していた (Goto 1894) とある。宿主は学名に従えばキハダ Thunnus albacares (Bonnaterre, 1788) になり、和名に従えばソウダガツオ属の一種 Auxis sp. となる.

The caligid Parapetalus? sp. infected on the gills of ”Thynnnus albacora (Jap. Sōda-gatuwo)” (Goto 1894). The scentific name of the host means Thunnus albacares (Bonnaterre, 1788) now, but the Japanese name means Auxis sp.
