08. NCAS/ANSAT and NMBA Competency Links

As a part of the NCAS/ANSAT and NMBA competency, I have always worked under my scope of practice following the standards and codes that are formulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). I understand all the standards that are set by NMBA and my responsibilities as a registered nurse. There are seven standards of practice that guides the practice of registered nurse to be person-centered and evidence-based with preventive, curative, formative, supportive, restorative, and palliative elements. All the files attached below are the clinical record book of my placements in which my competencies are evaluated by following the ANSAT tool. The sub-section in this section demonstrates my representation of each standard of practice of registered nurses.
