Andy Anderson

Services for William L. "Andy" Anderson, 61, of Norman will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Primrose Chapel. Burial will be 2 p.m. at Ringling Cemetery in Ringling, under the direction of Primrose Funeral Service. Mr. Anderson died Monday, May 14, in Norman. He was born Sept. 3, 1945, to William Lee and Valrie (Duncan) Anderson in Waurika. Mr. Anderson was a 1964 graduate of Norman High School. In 1965 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War with the military police detachment on the Coral Sea. Mr. Anderson was a police officer for three years in Santa Rosa, Calif., before returning to Oklahoma to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 20 years. Later he was a patient care technician at Griffin Memorial Hospital. He is survived by two daughters, Andrea Peevy and her husband Ronald of Loranger, La., and Valerie Esponda and her husband Eduardo of Petaluma, Calif.; five grandchildren, Rachael Dalgo, Leah Peevy, Ysabella, Zachary and Garrett Esponda; two brothers, Steve and Mike Anderson; and a sister, Annette Anderson.Â
