Jamboree Update - 8/1/10 8PM

Last night the Scouts attended the large arena show. The show included Mike Rowe (from the Dirty Jobs TV show) who tried to convince the Scouts that "Clean" should be removed from the Scout Law, the Switchfoot Rock Band, and a fantastic fireworks show.

Today, the Scouts once again travelled throughout the Jamboree seeing all of the areas. Some went rafting, others tried riflery. Some Scouts worked on merit badges (every single merit badges is taught at the Merit Badge midway). A few Scouts visited the Native American Village while others explored the armed forces area.

Tonight, the troop continued its "exchange program" with a few Scouts eating dinner wuth a Troop from Egypt. Tomorrow, the Egyptian scouts will have dinner with us.

The Scouts have become very active patch traders. Some of the Scouts have managed to trade for some interesting and unique patches. The Scouts seem to really enjoy meeting new people and exchanging itens with them.
