Scouts should be at Camp Carpenter in Manchester at 5:15AM on the 24th. The bus leaves at 6AM (the bus will not wait for those who are late). Scouts who wish to camp overnight at Camp Carpenter on the night beforehand can do so.
Scouts should be wearing a complete Class A Uniform (including official Scout socks) with the Troop 123 Red T-Shirt underneath. Scouts should also wear a neckerchief and the Troop 123 baseball cap. All patches on the uniform should match the Jamboree Troop (Jamboree Shoulder strip, Jamboree Troop Number, Jamboree Troop Position [e.g., Patrol Leader]).
All gear should be packed inside the Jamboree Duffel bag (including your sleeping bag) or the day pack. Additional bags or items cannot be accepted.
Water will be available on the bus. However, Scouts may want to bring some munchies in their day pack.
The bus will stop for lunch on the way to the Jamboree.
Upon arrival at Camp Carpenter on the 24th, the Scouts should check in with the Troop Leadership and will be told where to place their gear. The gear will be separated by Troop; it is important that the Scout's gear be put in the correct place to ensure that it gets on the proper bus. Each Troop will be on a separate bus with appropriate Troop Leadership.
If the Scout takes medication in the morning, please do so before the bus leaves. If medication is required during the day, it should be packed in the day pack, not in the duffel bag (the duffel bags will not be available until we arrive).
Scouts should bring appropriate material in their day pack to stay busy during the long ride (books, magazines, cards, etc.).
