As was mentioned in an earlier post (below), we visited Arlington National
Cemetery today. I'd like to share with you something written by one of our
Scouts after the visit (the Scouts name is withheld due to privacy
concerns). The scout wrote:
"The morning we visited Arlington Cemetery. For the brief time we were
there, we saw the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,
J.F.K.'s grave, and thousands of graves of those who served our country. I
have always been impressed by the incredible discipline that the soldiers
at the Tomb of the Unknown have and today was no exception. As for the
thousands of graves we saw ... this was a great reminder to me and everyone
else that freedom isn't free."
