Father Ish: A mysterious being who predates both the gods, but remains entirely absent from the world. Details on who or what the supposed Saint was are sparse, bordering non-existent, however amongst the Spiritfolk their is some division. Altars and shrines in remembrance of his alleged sacrifice and gift to the world are scattered throughout the lands, hollowed by traveling priests and revered by those who visit, even those incapable of the slightest magic capable of acknowledging the presence that fills them. The eldest of the dragons still debate on Father Ish's character, some believing him to be a sacrificial hero, a troubled divinity, or a deranged murderer. The question, even to them, remains unanswered.
Prometheus: One of the Sentinels of the Crystal Blade, the God of Man who watches over Valoris. He is described as an immense, unstoppable force of armor and blade. No mortal alive has ever glimpsed him, however oracles and dreamers maintain him to have a great white beard and finely forged, crimson red armor that burns the color of the sun's corona. He is responsible for leading man on the path to civilization and providing them with the means to advance, both mentally and materially. His sister being is Anesidora, the Goddess of the Earth, and the two offer one another ambivalent respect.
Anesidora: One of the Sentinels of the Crystal Blade, the Goddess of the Earth who watches over Valoris. An occasional being dedicated to the darkness has witness her, and she is described as a doll-like, pale woman with eyes the color of blood and a white, ornate robe and gown that whispers with the rustling of all sorts of bangles and jewels. Although she is the proclaimed Goddess who watches over nature, she has a secondary aspect that places her with dominion over the realm of darkness. Her nature is difficult to perceive, but despite her apparent ambivalence, she has intervened on behalf of those who respect and worship her in their time of need. The Power of Spite, a divine relic gifted to the people of Ria by the White Devil is revered and used as a medium with which to create their Tabernacles of Darkness.
Knight King: The Knight King is the Chosen One of Prometheus, the God of Man. At this day and age, it is more a title than a specific figure, as the title, armor, and blade associated with the first hero has been passed down his lineage for generations. It was the first Knight King, however, who successfully eliminated a "dreadful, shadowy presence with many eyes and fangs" that had existed before the dawn of man. How he, and the unnamed fiend, came about is unknown. Most believe the first Knight King was son of Prometheus, but the origin of the monster the spawn is clouded. Some believe it a of Anesidora, while others believe some primordial evil that still waits in the pits of the earth. Others still fathom it as some being from the starry skies that descended upon the world to end mankind. Regardless of the origin, however, the Knight King and his progeny have led a powerful and just kingdom established on the northern most landmass of the world, and it is hailed as the Holy City of Man. The current man who wears the mantle is aged and growing feeble, his son, the Prince Altruis, carrying out many of his duties.
