A petite, short girl with a definite oriental build, Maere has deep black hair that falls loosely down to around her shoulder blades, a thickly-tied braid found touching each of her ears to keep it from straying into her eye line. Her skin color contrasts her hair immensely, only a few shades more cream-colored than sickly white. The immediate instinct drawn from her blue-grey eyes is one of listlessness and the occasional spot of sunburn makes her look somewhat pathetic, however further inspection reveals something not quite right about her stare. She seems to possess no fashion sense, as the bizarre young woman sports a grey sweater which is clearly several sizes big and a violet-colored, pleated skirt that falls down to the ankles of her durable, animal-hide boots. That, coupled with the odd wrapped around her neck which covers up her upper back creates a very odd image.
