Respect:
Golden Rule: treat others the way you want to be treated
Looks like: you reap what you sow
Consider what you would want from others
Don't talk while the teacher is talking
Listening to what is being said
Avoid complaining when directions are given
React immediately when a direction is given
You shouldn't need five or 6 reminders
Don't argue or negotiate or back talk
Be accepting/tolerant of differences
Don't make fun of others difference
To accept is to understand the differences of others and show empathy for them.
Include others
To tolerate is to put up with someone
We can't have everything our way but we need to tolerate or accept people and things around us
Use appropriate language
Don't call people names
If someone expresses that they don't like a nickname that you're using, respect their boundary and stop.
No trash talking
Use your manners
Treat everyone equally, don't gossip
Be considerate of the feelings of others
Don't threaten, hit or hurt anyone
Understand that you don't know everyone or understand what might hurt someone
“I'm just kidding,” doesn't make it okay
Deal peacefully with anger, insults and disagreements
Be better than a physical reaction
Be thoughtful in your response
Get help when it is needed
