Respect:

Golden Rule: treat others the way you want to be treated

Looks like: you reap what you sow

Consider what you would want from others

Don't talk while the teacher is talking

Listening to what is being said

Avoid complaining when directions are given

React immediately when a direction is given

You shouldn't need five or 6 reminders

Don't argue or negotiate or back talk

Be accepting/tolerant of differences

Don't make fun of others difference

To accept is to understand the differences of others and show empathy for them.

Include others

To tolerate is to put up with someone

We can't have everything our way but we need to tolerate or accept people and things around us

Use appropriate language

Don't call people names

If someone expresses that they don't like a nickname that you're using, respect their boundary and stop.

No trash talking

Use your manners

Treat everyone equally, don't gossip

Be considerate of the feelings of others

Don't threaten, hit or hurt anyone

Understand that you don't know everyone or understand what might hurt someone

“I'm just kidding,” doesn't make it okay

Deal peacefully with anger, insults and disagreements

Be better than a physical reaction

Be thoughtful in your response

Get help when it is needed
