Biology (9-12th grades)
The focus of this course will be the study of the ecology, cells, genetics, evolution and phylogeny, physiological development through the human body. Students in Biology will be required to complete a mid-term, a final and appropriate lab write ups. Assigned laboratory work will be completed using online, demonstrative and hands-on activities that will apply the Biology principals and concepts. This is a one year, 10-unit coursePrerequisites: concurrent enrollment Algebra 1 or higher
Textbook Requirement: Biology-The Dynamics of Life - 2004 ed. (Glencoe –Orca front) BRING TEXT TO CLASS
Attendance: Twice a week for 1 hour on Tuesday and Thursday scheduled Onsite classroom days, 15 weeks per semester.

Due each week (Tuesday): Chapter Tests to be taken on the above website.
Due 1 week after each lab (Thursday): Lab Write-ups (1/week in labbook)
