Syllabus Middle School Physical Sciences

Physical Sciences (7th and 8th grades)

The focus of this course for second semester will be on Introductory Physical Science principals for Motion and Forces, Wave Theory, Light, Electricity and Magnetism. Students in Middle School Physical Science will be required to complete a mid-term and final. Assigned laboratory work will be required for lab credit and will apply the principals and concepts of the physics through demonstrative and hands-on activities.

This is a one year, 36 week course

Textbook Requirement: Physical Science Voyages (Glencoe - space shuttle on front)

Attendance: Twice a week for 1 hour on scheduled Tuesday/Thursday Academic Boost classroom days, 26 days per semester.
