Hi Algebra class,
Some of you have expressed an interest in retaking your chapter 1 and 2 test. I am all for retaking tests until you master the concepts. If you scored below a 75%, you should retake the test. Below is a link to complete online tests. You should have pencil and paper nearby when you take these tests as you will want to have accurate work in order to get the correct answers! Please complete the tests for both chapter 1 and chapter 2. If your score is 80% or better, email the results to yourself and to me. You can take the tests multiple times; you only need to email me the scores when you score 80% or better. I will take the mean of your test scores. However, 88% is the highest mean score you can get if you had to retake it (I have to give some incentive to do well the first time around!).

Hi Geometry class,
Please watch this video on transversals and angles in preparation for tomorrow’s class.
http://www.khanacademy.org/video/angles-formed-by-parallel-lines-and-transversals?playlist=Geometry
I was pretty frustrated with so many of you not completing last week’s assignments; as a result I gave you a VERY long assignment. It is too much! You only need to do the odd problems for the lesson reviews on pp. 729-731 (Assignment # 23 lessons 3-1 thru 3-7). If you have already did the evens, I will give you extra credit.
Please remember to complete assignment #24 also, which was to add the definitions and theorems to your math journal (details on handout I gave you I class, but I have attached it also). Assignment #24 Click here
I currently have only two people who have completed assignment #21 Chapter 3 practice test p.137 (due yesterday), Lorelei D. and Christian Y. I thought more of you had raised your hand that you completed that assignment. Please turn it in tomorrow if you have not already.
