From Mr. Santiago,

I hope this letter finds you and your family healthy and enjoying the great weather. I am ready from some fall weather and a bit more rain myself. 8th grade students in the state of Texas will complete four STAAR exams on the subjects of Reading, Math/Algebra, Science and Social Studies. Please help them by encouraging their studies at home, and making sure they get plenty of rest. Grades are updated at this time please contact me with any concerns or questions on assignments or behavior.

Parents I really need your help. I have had more missing and incomplete assignments this year that I have ever experienced. Please help them by making sure they are completing their study time and their nightly reflections every Monday through Thursday. ZAP is available every week and students are not taking the opportunity to complete missed assignments or come in for corrections and retakes on quizzes and test. If you have any questions please contact me either by email or call to schedule a meeting.

ALL DRESS UP COSTUMES MUST BE IN DRESS CODE. STUDENTS MAY NOT WEAR FACE PAINT OR MASKS. WE MUST BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY YOUR CHILD.
